John and I sat next to each other in 7th grade Algebra.  John Glenn Junior High took  about eight of us who were doing well in math and  put us in an experimental Algebra class.  Well, John and I were so confused.  We would both work the Algebra problems and compare answers--our answeres were never the same.  It didn't matter because we were both wrong most of the time.  I passed that class with a low D.  I don't know how John did, but I'm sure the ordeal did not hold either one of us back. I was always fond of John.  I have often wondered what path he took in life.  So sorry I will never know.  RIP, John.
